Merchant Onboarding Policy

MPay follows structured onboarding guidelines to ensure compliance and secure transactions.

I. Eligibility Criteria

  • Valid KYC documents
  • Compliance with RBI & NPCI regulations
  • Legitimate business model
  • No involvement in prohibited categories

II. Required Documents

  • PAN Card
  • Aadhar / valid ID proof
  • Business registration documents
  • Bank account details
  • Website/App details (if applicable)

III. Verification Process

  • Document verification
  • Risk analysis
  • Business model assessment
  • Bank approval (if required)

IV. Onboarding Timeline

Typically 24–72 working hours depending on document accuracy.

V. Merchant Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and updated details
  • Maintain regulatory compliance
  • Avoid fraudulent/high-risk transactions
  • Use MPay only for authorized business purposes

VI. Deactivation / Suspension

  • Incomplete KYC
  • Suspicious activity
  • Regulatory violations
