The number of employees involved in the management of the data center that have physical access to these computer are very limited. We use advanced security technology to prevent our computers from being accessed by unauthorized persons. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your Login ID/password and to your computer.Please be sure to sign off the login section while using shared computer.

Domain Name
We check domain name of merchant along with tracking of IP address to check genuinity of merchant.We also track product bought, browser used , information put on website etc for genuinity.we keep these information in secured server.

Personal Information:
We collect Personal Information (information that can be used to identify an individual) such as

  • Name
  • Contact information (such as email, phone, and mailing address)
  • Order information
  • Merchant and merchant account information, including account information we may gather from third party sources

Order Information provided by you for the purpose of processing Orders
We may collect Personal Information when you choose to provide us through the Platform, as well as other sources, such as social media platforms, and from other third parties.

Scope

  • This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how we collect, handle, and disclose personal information collected from Merchants, or Customers. This policy must be read with (a) the terms of use of MMAD platform and services (“Terms”), (b) the Merchant On boarding Policy, and (c) other Policies of MMAD, and is a legally binding document between you and us.
  • Capitalized words like “you”, “your”, “us”, “we”, “Services”, already defined under the Terms, and used in this policy, will have the same meaning as defined under the Terms.

By accessing or using the Services or the Platform, you confirm that you have read this Privacy Policy, understand it, and expressly agree to the collection, storage, and disclosure of your personal information, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Please note that we can revise this Privacy Policy per our discretion, from time to time. a) Data Collection from Merchants

 

     We collect the following data and information from Merchants:

    • Registration Information: We collect personal information about our Merchants when onboarding our Merchants, to conduct due diligence on, and/or execute Merchant Agreements to govern their use of Services. Such information may include the Merchant’s name, address, contact details, login name, profile picture etc.
    • Usage Information: We collect geolocation data from your electronic device if you have enabled the location services functionality for availing the Services. We collect information about your interaction with the Services. This includes access date and time, Service features or pages viewed, Service interruption or technical crashes, type of internet browser used, device language settings, and operating system.
    • Information from Third Parties: We work with various third party service providers, including business partners, analytics providers, software developers, and technical sub-contractors, and may receive information about you from them. Such data may be shared internally, and combined with data collected from the Services.

 

b) Data Collection from Customers

 

     We collect the following data and information from and/or about Customers:

    • Transaction Data: We may ask Customers to submit personal information, like their name and address, telephone number, e-mail address, to allow the processing of Transactions. We may also ask for other relevant details, like the token details connected to your credit/debit cards, as are required to facilitate Transactions. We do not collect or store customer card credentials within our database or server.
    • Device Data: We collect information about and from the electronic device you use to avail our Services, including the type of web browser you use, device language settings, operating system, IP addresses, your geo-location, SMSs (to auto-populate OTPs) etc.
    • From Third Parties: We work with various third party service providers, including business partners, analytics providers, software developers, and technical sub-contractors and may receive information about you from them. Such data may be shared internally, and combined with data collected from the Services.

 

 

c) Cookies and other tracking technologies

     We may use cookies to distinguish you from other users of our products or services. This helps us to provide you with a good experience, and also allows us to improve our products or services. A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we store on your browser or the hard drive of your device when you visit our Platform or use our Services. d) Personal Data of Children

Individuals who are aged 18 years or more can avail our Services. We process children’s personal information only with the consent of their parents or legal guardians.

We collect personal information from you for the following specific purposes, in our efforts to provide you Services in the best manner possible:

  • To help Customers purchase products/services from Merchants, and process payments in connection with Transactions;
  • To provide Customers redressal of their grievances;
  • To prevent fraud, and ensure security of the Services;
  • To improve, modify, refine, or personalise our Services;
  • To contact Customers, if required;
  • Marketing our products and Services; and
  • To protect our legal rights, and for other lawful and legitimate purposes permitted under Applicable Law.

 

Retention

We retain your personal information for the period we deem necessary, to permit your access or use of the Services, compliance with Applicable Law, resolution of disputes, implementation of risk management measures, or other such purposes in connection with the Services. If you have doubts about the retention periods of specific kinds of personal information, you may direct your queries to the Grievance Officer, whose details are provided below.

 

Disclosure to Third Parties

We may share your personal information with the following persons:

  • You;
  • Any third party you ask us to share your personal information with including Merchants;
  • Facility Providers;
  • Law enforcement or regulatory authorities, if they so request, and we consider disclosure as our statutory obligation under Applicable Law;
  • Third-party service providers, advertisers including business partners, analytics providers, software developers, and technical sub-contractors; and
  • While negotiating any restructuring, merger or sale of our assets, we may have to disclose our databases with the prospective acquires or investors.

Reasonable Security Practices

We have implemented reasonable security practices and procedures, that are commensurate with the information assets being protected and the nature of our business. We strive to provide security above industry standards, and implement protective measures including the usage of SSL software, secure computers, and limitation of employee access to our devices. You understand that despite our best efforts, we cannot ensure complete security of information transmitted by you to us, due to inherent limitations of the internet. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Platform, including through the illegal acts of third parties.

  • Confirmation: You can ask us to confirm if we are processing your personal data;
  • Review: You can ask us for a copy of your personal data held by us;
  • Rectification: You can inform us about changes to your personal data, and ask that we correct any erroneous or incorrect personal data held by us. We are not responsible for the authenticity of the data you provide us. Please ensure you notify us without undue delay of any changes to the personal data that you have provided to us by updating your details on the Platform or by contacting us at the details provided in this Privacy Policy.
  • Restrictions on Processing: You can ask us to erase your personal data, block or restrict the processing of your personal data, or object about specific ways in which we use your personal data;
  • Right to Opt Out: We or our service providers may communicate with you through voice calls, text messages, emails, Platform notifications, or other means. The communication may relate to (a) Services (as defined in the Terms of Use), (b) promotional offers, or (c) any other information that we may want to share with you. You may opt out of receiving information about promotional offers by writing. But even if You opt out of receiving information from us, we will still send You non-promotional communication; and
  • Withdrawal of Consent: You have the option to withdraw consent given to us for processing your personal data. In such cases, we reserve the right to stop providing Services for which your personal data was sought. Your withdrawal will become effective when you receive an acknowledgment from us.
